I called Valerie in desperation. Our son had to leave the state for 6 weeks and we had our family pictures scheduled and his flight was moved up and rescheduling was turning into a nightmare. I reached out hoping to book her last minute for the next day. Gratefully, she made herself available. Our family is BIG with 11 people, including a 1 year old and our 16 year old special needs son. She handled our group with such grace. She was super flexible, patient and made the experience very pleasant and as stress free as it could be. My granddaughter was intrigued by her and kept reaching out for her. At the end of the session she picked her up and got lots of love from our little one. I haven't see our pictures yet but I am so happy with our experience thus far!.

Valerie was the only local photographer I could find who offered professional headshots. As a single, middle-aged man, I'm a very atypical client, but she had just the right package in mind for me! I chose her deluxe "branding session", which is apparently new and not on her website yet. She worked with me indoors and out for all the different personal and business shots that I asked for. She also framed some very cool images that I never would have thought of. 

I also appreciate that she was able to keep the appointment despite an emergency situation that came up the day before. I'd been planning around the date for months, so it meant a lot to me to keep the appointment, and she hustled to find a way.

The "Valerie Gallery" (my term, not hers) of images after the session was generous and user-friendly. I was able to instantly download high-resolution copies of all the images (she also posted many more than promised). It's very easy to order prints. I plan to return next month to prepare Christmas cards!

Valerie took our engagement photos, and we couldn't be happier with her work! We originally were thinking we only needed a few photos, but we ended up loving so many that we bought the entire lot. We are new to the area , so Valerie asked us what we were thinking for a location and then made suggestions to different areas. Valerie is extremely professional but very personable, so we felt comfortable with her right away. I am shy and feel very uncomfortable taking pictures, but Valerie fully guided us with poses and movements that turned out really natural in the photos. She was also open to suggestions for picture ideas too and helped to make those ideas work. Everything was easy with Valerie- she's very responsive when messaging, the photoshoot process was fun and a breeze, and getting the proofs and final edited pics to us was so fast. Go with Valerie, you will be so happy you did!

I saw Valerie's work from a graduation announcement I received last year. I instinctively knew I would work with her for my daughter's graduation photos. We provided her with Pinterest examples of what we were looking for. She provided us with location suggestions and waited for the right weather to shoot. She actually walked into the water to get the perfect shot. The photos came out beautifully. Quick turnaround. We couldn't be happier. I would recommend her 100%.
